Competition Team represents at Las Vegas Nationals

Traveling Team Director, Cyndi Cochran, along with 3 of our competition team members, Cassie Moran (14), Elizabeth Ford (12), and Tessa Doan (12) have been busy this week representing Toni's Dance Academy at the Sheer National Talent Competition in Las Vegas. The dancers placed top 3rd and 4th overall in the duet/trio category as well as brought home a total of 5 platinums and 5 titanium awards. In addition to the regular competition event, the girls qualified to participate in the elite national Mr. & Miss Dance title competition in both the Pre-Teen and Teen division. The title competition, featuring some of the most elite soloists from across the country and Latin America, is not only judged on the dancer's solo routine, but also audition classes throughout the week and nightly rehearsals of a showstopping production routine that is featured at the gala banquet on the final night of the nationals. Toni's Dance Academy has proudly produced multiple Miss and Mr. Dance of America winners in both the Junior, Teen and Senior categories over the past 40 years, including co-director of the Academy, Dana Kurzawinski. We are so proud of their accomplishments this past week!
